Athletics Club
Competitions:
We provide opportunities to compete in indoor and outdoor events throughout the year. The club usually travels together to the Welcome Match, as well as Scottish University Indoors and Outdoors. The club also helps sort out travel and accomodation for BUCS indoors and outdoors.
The Welcome Match starts of the indoor season with a very friendly competition, open to anyone wanting to compete. Whether you have never competed before, have lots of experience or are just looking to try out new events, its the competition for you!
Scottish University Indoors and Outdoors is a slightly bigger competition, but are still very friendly. To BUCS however, the club is only allowed to send 2 competitors per event, to compete against the best from all UK universities.

Other Competitions:
There are many other competitions endorsed by Scottish Athletics around the country that you can enter but they are not included in your EUAC membership and we won’t necessarily be providing transport to them. Details of the events and entry can be found through the Scottish Athletics website but please contact the Competition Secretary Declan, or use our contact form, if you have any further questions.
We advise if you are interested in going to a lot of competitions getting a Scottish athletics membership. It’s £10 for under 21s and £21 for over 21s.
